Darryl Christen
Board of Directors
Darryl K. Christen is a practicing lawyer in Houma, Louisiana, with the law firm of Christen & Rhymes. Additionally, he is an active FAA Certified Flight Instructor for Airplanes and Helicopters for over 30 years, and in addition to being a Designated Pilot Examiner, allowed to conduct FAA pilot license examinations. His aviation sideline career has allowed him to pilot over 100 different types of aircraft, earn the coveted Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, earn type ratings in the DC-3, DC-3 Turbine, DC-4, Aero Vodochody L-39 fighter – trainer, Cessna 500 Citation, and the North American T-28 aircraft, and fly in the Reno Air Races. He has literally piloted aircraft from ultra-lights to jets and helicopters, and is involved in aerobatics as a safety teaching tool for all pilots. He is proud to serve as a Board Member of the Blackhawk Foundation.
