LtCol., USMC
Board of Advisors

United States Marine LTC Richard Herberg, Jr., is a true American success story and the perfect role model for young Americans who have face the present day challenges of growing up in a disadvantaged environment. A first generation American, Richard’s family had escaped from the “Iron Curtain” in war torn Eastern Europe (Germany – Poland) and resettled in America after the Soviet Union had enslaved hundreds of millions of people. Richard graduated from the University of Maryland in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts / Pre-Law degree. Immediately after graduation, he entered the United States Marine Corps and was selected for USMC Officer Candidate School in 1965, after having attended Marine Corps Basic Training. Throughout his stellar career in aviation, LTC Herberg has accumulated well over 17,000 accident and incident-free flight hours in helicopters and airplanes. He presently flies for Air Logistics, where he is one of the top corporate pilots assigned to the Anadarko Petroleum Management.
