Legally incorporated October 11th, 2006, the Blackhawk Flight Foundation, Inc., is a new kid on the block. However, the mission, vision, goals, and concept have been almost 8 years in the making.

Since my autumn 2000 visit to Moton Field, Alabama (the home of the basic aviation training base for the famed WWII American heroes, The Tuskegee Airmen) 5 miles northeast of Tuskegee, Alabama, I have been working towards establishing the operational infrastructure for what was to become, the Blackhawk Flight Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, public, foundation.

Along the way, I was able to share my vision with many close friends who thought the mission was a worthy cause and have added their efforts, counseling, moral support, good names and financial support to our Board of Advisors Group.

The Blackhawk Flight Foundation, Inc. is a group of successful businessmen comprised mainly of Vietnam Veteran pilots & combat aircrew, civilian trained commercial pilots, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists, all of whom have aviation or educational interests. Most are prior military and all are good citizens and patriots.
