Victor “Sonny” Schilleci, IV, is our newest member of the Blackhawk Flight Foundation Board of Directors. With a career in both law enforcement & aviation, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our management team. He is a highly-decorated Law Enforcement Officer with an incredible history of investigative accomplishments, & the owner / CEO of Auric Avionics, a premier aviation electronics sales & service company, located in New Orleans. Sonny comes from an aviation family. His father & uncle both served in WWII with the US Army Air Corps 8th Air Force, flying bombers over Europe. In 1987, on his 16th birthday, he was the youngest person to solo T-28B Trojan Naval Trainer, & presently owns, & flies, his own fully-operational A.V. L-39 Albatros jet fighter, as well as a historic N.A. AT-6 Texan WWII trainer. He is an accomplished air show pilot & is a founding member of Blackhawk’s American Aviation Heritage Flight Team.
